Xiaomi Unveils Redmi 14C 5G

Hyderabad: Xiaomi India, a leader in smartphone and AIoT innovation, has unveiled the global debut of the Redmi 14C 5G, a new addition to its budget smartphone lineup. Designed to cater to the grow-ing demand for 5G connectivity, the new model offers a blend of modern features, exceptional performance, and affordability, meeting the evolving needs of Indian consumers.

Sandeep Sarma, Associate Director, Marketing, Xiomi India briefed the media about the product launch in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The model features a 6.88-inch HD+ Dot Drop display, providing vibrant visuals with peak brightness of 600 nits, perfect for gaming, streaming, and browsing. Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G chipset, the device promises efficient multitasking with up to 12GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

Equipped with a 50MP AI dual-camera system, the phone ensures high-quality photo capture in various lighting conditions, while the 5160mAh battery with 18W fast charging supports all-day usage. Running Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14, the device also offers two years of Android updates and four years of security patches.

In addition to the new launch, Xiaomi celebrated the immense success of the Redmi Note 14 5G Series, which achieved Rs1,000 crore in revenue within just two weeks of its release. The Note 14 Series continues to redefine mid-range smartphones, offering robust durability and cutting-edge technology.
